The Crew are both operational and retired RNLI crew members with many years of service and experience and besides having many tales to tell are full of facts and figures relating to lifeboating and the saving of lives at sea.
The Lifeboat Experience offers assistance to Teachers and Project Leaders who specifically wish to become involved in Lifeboat Projects.
For safety and operational purposes the total number of passengers, per trip, is restricted to 12 plus lifeboat crew and the boat is insured accordingly.
The Lifeboat Experience offers concessions to organised groups of students and bona fide youth groups and is currently set, for the next 12 months at £1-50 per head and is payable, to the boatman, on the day.
For larger groups, in excess of 12 and booking more than one trip a deposit of 30%, lodged in advance, is required and promptness to pre-arranged times is essential.
